April 14: Model Train Show and Sale, The Hawley Fire House

April 14: Park History Tour, Pocono Environmental Education Center, Explore the park to find the many scenic and historic sites within our beloved recreation area. Bring a water bottle, lunch, 1-3 PM, Monroe County Environmental Education Center Location: Tannersville Bog Parking Area, Join Environmental Educator Brian Hardiman on this exploration of the bog’s wetlands and uplands searching for a variety of amphibians and reptiles. Learn about the identification and ecology of these animals in this two-hour walk. Meet at the Bog parking lot at 1pm. Please wear appropriate footwear. Pre-registration is required for all walks. Call for directions.

April 19 Penn's Peak: Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes, Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes grew out of the mid-70s during the Jersey Shore music scene following on the heels of Bruce Springsteen.  After a decade without a recording contract, Southside Johnny founded his own record label, Leroy Records, in 2001.  He began releasing and distributing his new records under his control.  Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes continue to perform today, even selling out venues, while still releasing new albums.

April 19 - Nine and Dine, Split Rock Golf Club, Nine and Dine allow golfers to play nine holes of golf followed by dinner at the Sunset Green Restaurant. Please call for for availability and cost.

April 20: Jim Thorpe Earth Day Celebration kicks off in downtown Jim Thorpe. The celebration includes live entertainment, children's activities, demonstrations, workshops, environmental education and more. Rain date April 21.

April 5 - 30th: Spring is here and the natural water levels on the Lehigh River are generally at their highest. Join Pocono Whitewater for a whitewater rafting trip on the Lehigh River or a day of rail-trail biking through the Lehigh Gorge State Park and you will receive a FREE PASS to come back and play Skirmish Paintball.

April Every Saturday: Horse and Carriage Rides, Come enjoy the Pocono Mountains Scenery while riding in a horse drawn carriage around Mount Airy's award winning golf course. Reservations are required. Please contact guest services to make a reservation and to purchase tickets. Availability is limited per day.  Carriage Rides are held every Saturday.
