I am so excited about June. As I was driving through White Haven yesterday, it was thrilling to see all of the cars toting bicycles and heading to the Lehigh Gorge for a fun day of riding.
Get ready for June in the Poconos. If you are thinking of hiking, biking, fishing, boating, going to a waterpark or a NASCAR Race- the Mountains are where you want to be. I am happy to say that I have done all of these things and taken full advantage of the wonderful place God’s given me to live in! One of the big NASCAR Races is coming up on June 9th. Thinking of the races got my mind to wandering back to my fun days at the races. My best friend was a professional singer, Noreen Venn. Her group at the time, Boys’ Night Out, did a pre-race show for the crowd. The group unloaded their equipment to perform on a flatbed positioned on the track in front of the grandstand.
This weekend’s weather looks glorious in the Poconos, perfect for mountain biking!
